What to Wear for your senior session

One of the biggest questions I get from my seniors is what do I wear. It can be overwhelming to pick out your outfits for your senior pictures but I am here to help. During my senior sessions, I allow as many outfit changes that time will allow. I have a pop-up tent that makes outfit changes a breeze. Now let’s get into some ideas of what to choose for those outfits.

Something Dressy

The first outfit I would pick out would be something dressy. Something classy and timeless that will not age with the times.

Something Casual

Next, I would pick something casual and something you are comfortable in. Pick something that is true to you and this can be something trendy too.

Sports

Another outfit option is a sports outfit. This could be your jersey, your full uniform, or your lettermen jacket. If you are involved in multiple sports you could bring either all the jerseys or if you have a favorite then bring your fav.

Future plans

Something fun to include in your outfits is a sweatshirt or shirt from the college you are going to after high school. Or maybe something that shows what your future plans are.

Accessories

Accessories really can add a little something to your session. Whether it is a fun hat, sunglasses, or tennis racket it can add your personality to the session.

Some things to avoid

Some things that you should avoid are; Neon colors, large logos, and distracting patterns. Make sure your clothes are wrinkle-free and stain-free.

When you hire me as your photographer I can help you through the process. Whether you need help deciding on which outfits to choose or if you need more inspiration, I will only be a phone call or text away.
