Spokane Surprise Wedding!!

OH! MY! GOODNESS!!! I was so excited when Jen reached out to have me capture their surprise wedding. It sounded like so much fun and it did not disappoint.

We had to try and be sneaky about it because if people saw me they would know what was going on. I photographed Jen’s best friends, Candace and Jordan, wedding and then Jordan’s mother’s wedding the weekend before Jen’s wedding. So when I got to Jen’s property I went in the front door while everyone was in the backyard. I hung out in the bedroom taking a couple pictures of the details until Mike & Jen came in to get ready.

Then once they were ready I went out back to take pictures as the band announced everyone to go into the front yard for a surprise. Everyone gathered in the front yard while the officiant, Dean, started talking about Mike & Jen’s love. There was a lot of talk before leading up to this party about it being about announcing a pregnancy. So Dean released a blue and pink balloon as a little joke. Then Mike and Jen come out and the ceremony began.

After the ceremony we got a big group picture of everyone there. Then we grab some of the other portraits and headed into the backyard and we took more portraits and ate dinner. This group was so much fun! We did some shots of them on the playground and everyone just wanted to have fun. We even had some of the kids playing in the pool. It was such a beautiful loving fun wedding to be a part of.
