James & Kelsie Port June 29th, 2023

The wedding for Mr and Mrs Port was so beautiful. When I first arrived to Chateau Rive located in Downtown Spokane I noticed the amazing building. Chateau Rive is located on the Ground Floor of the Flour Mill which has been around since as long as I can remember. My first stop was the bridal suite to check on the bride and bridesmaids. The getting ready suite is so spacious with lots of light. There is a large vanity big enough to fit a couple of people to get ready and couple of smaller vanities. The window over looks the outdoor ceremony location. So you can keep an eye on who has arrived. Here is the bridal suite I took some getting ready photos and details shots.

After I checked in on the Bride I went to go check on the Groom and Groomsmen. They were already ready to go so we captured some groomsmen pictures outside.

Afterwards I ran back upstairs to the bridal suite to capture the bride getting into her dress. There was a separate room for her to get into her dress with the help from her mom. Then we were able to do a 1st look with her bridesmaids.

Now that Kelsie was in her dress we were now ready for 1st look. Chateau Rive has an amazing stair case leading all the way down to the ceremony location. It was the perfect setting for the 1st look. I ran ahead of the bride and got James all set up and gave him direction to what to do. Once Kelsie was down to the first landing I had James turn around. As soon as he saw her he ran up the stairs to hold her.

Next up: Portraits! With this wedding we started with couples portraits, then bridal party, and finished up with family portraits. With the beautiful background of the Spokane River.

A little break for the couple before the ceremony. The ceremony was so beautiful. What I loved most was it was centered around God. They had a pastor and his wife come and sing “Blessing” and it was so amazing I had goosebumps.

It’s Party Time!! The reception was held indoors. Such a stunning reception area. There was plenty of room for dancing and tables. It was such a fun time. We even had a proposal!!

We ended the night with a sparklers exit!!
