Slavin

James T Slavin Conversation Area is off Hwy 195 just 30 mins from the Spokane Valley. It has a wide-open field, wonderful Aspen trees, and if you are willing to walk a bit, a lake. This spot would be great any time of year and great for sunset pictures. Click the picture for the gallery.

Spokane River at Mirabeau Park

This location is great all year round. It is right by the river, so you get the water. There is a big rock wall the kids love to climb. And at the top some trees. Click picture to see gallery.

Click the photo for directions- If you are coming from Indiana, it will be the parking lot across from the waterfall by the river.

The Tunnel on Madison Rd

This location is on the way out to Valley ford, WA, about 10 mins for the valley. It has the best of both worlds. You have the Urban feel of the tunnel and road and then right next to the tunnel is an open field with trees and tall grass. This location would be great any time of year!! There is a lot of traffic, so maybe not the best for little children. Click on the picture to see the gallery.
